The role of Data Analyst - Supply Chain & Logistics, will drive transformation in delivery and warehouse operations by analysing supply chain, logistics, and warehouse data.
With operations spanning multiple warehouses and delivery points, you'll tackle challenges like fluctuating demand, optimising routes, reducing waste, and ensuring timely fulfilment.
Key responsibilities of this Data Analyst - Supply Chain & Logistics:
- Evaluate and enhance key metrics like delivery times, warehouse capacity, order fulfilment, and logistics processes to reduce delays, improve cost efficiency, and boost customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the operations team to align warehouse activities with business goals, focusing on stock inbounding and storage optimisation.
- Build and maintain advanced data models to address complex operational challenges, ensuring data is accessible for decision-making across logistics and delivery networks.
- Partner with regional managers, store managers, delivery leads, and customer service teams to translate data insights into clear, strategic, and actionable recommendations.
- Address issues like last-mile delivery hurdles and warehouse inefficiencies by providing practical data-driven solutions in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Key requirements of Data Analyst - Supply Chain & Logistics:
- Ideally having 5 years of experience in analytics or data science, preferably in operational, supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution.
- The business is open to experience in Investment Banking as Senior Associate/VP level looking to get into a scale-up business.
- Ideally having experience in Delivery & Warehouse Operations- Familiarity with the intricacies of last-mile delivery, logistics optimisation, and warehouse management..
- Expert proficiency in SQL and databases, with the ability to write structured and efficient queries on large data sets.
- You must have the full right to work in the UK (the business doesn't offer sponsorship).
- Experience with Python or R, is a plus.
- Development experience with BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Skilled at conveying complex data insights in a clear, engaging manner, tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Passionate about solving problems and thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
