Data Analyst | Impact-led fundraising platform scale-up | London

The client:

Harmonic is thrilled to be collaborating with an exciting rapid-growth tech scale-up.

They have raised a huge amount of funding from some of the top VCs across the UK and the US and now have an expanding global presence with new market expansion planned over the next couple of years. As they continue to expand their presence in the UK and international markets, they are seeking an experienced data/analytics professional to join their team and support strategic decision-making across the business.

The Role:

The ideal candidate will be technically and culturally ready to wear many hats, and comfortable in an unstructured environment. In return, this role provides a unique opportunity to drive immense personal growth and development, as well as helping to shape the data journey of an exciting scale-up.

We are seeking someone who can leverage extensive customer data to uncover key insights that will drive CRM strategy and enhance their understanding of the customer.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a highly motivated data specialist to join one of the world's fastest-growing companies at the beginning of their data journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the key support for our Head of CRM, providing them with a clear understanding of CRM performance and ensuring decisions are guided by data.
  • Analyse unstructured data to gain insights into our customer base, shaping our communication strategies with different user segments throughout their lifecycles.
  • Utilize these insights to design and implement A/B and multivariate tests across our user base.
  • Evaluate the results of these tests to refine strategies and contribute to our CRM approach.
  • Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure CRM data is accurately modelled and develop dashboards and reports to highlight the impact of CRM on the business.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A highly motivated and ambitious individual. Someone who wants to progress, ask questions and grow into a managerial position
  • 4+ years of marketing / product analytics experience in a high-growth business, specifically working with CRM data (e.g. email outreach, customer lifecycle management, segmentation, etc.)
  • Solid experience in impacting a product / marketing roadmap through the production of actionable insights, and an ability to present work effectively to non-data colleagues
  • Easily able to solve high-level problems and break them down into constituent parts
  • Fluency in SQL, with the ability to query and transform large volumes (billions of rows) of data (we use Snowflake)
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g. Looker or Tableau) and the ability to create highly accessible, digestible visualisations and dashboards
  • Working knowledge of ELT / data modelling tools such as DBT is a bonus

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + company benefits + equity

Location: Central London / Zone 1 (3 days per week in office)
