Data Analyst - Insurance
We are currently hiring for a Data Analyst with bordereaux experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.
Inside IR35
Hybrid- 2 days a week onsite
Responsibilities:
- Support the Bdx Management team and Claims stakeholders with data and analysis
- Act as key contact for MI Department in this field and provide relevant business knowledge
- Collect and understand requirements for new PowerBI reporting and deliver new reports
- Develop PowerBI dashboards
- Build SQL codes
- Promote the use of data and the profile of MI
- Produce clear and concise reports to analyse business activity
- Manage stakeholders across multiple global offices and ensure communications are maintained.
Experience:
- Experience building SQL (statements, join tables)
- Shows initiative in undertaking tasks and the ability to prioritise stakeholder needs
- Experience working within a larger team and evidence of being an effective team player
- An understanding of the insurance function and data requirements therein.
- Excellent knowledge of PowerBI and can clearly demonstrate knowledge on building reports to a high standard
- Requires strong and relevant work experience gained in a similar role within the financial sector
- Effectively uses and manipulates data from databases and I.T. systems to produce qualitative data for the business
- Specialty Insurance/ London Markets experience
- DAX experience
