THE COMPANY:

THE ROLE:

As a Data Governance Analyst, you will be supporting on the implementation of the data catalogue platform, Precisely. Your role will include:

  • Configuring the selected data governance platform including business glossary, data registers, workflows, user groups and user profiles, reference data, and relationships.
  • Supporting on data governance/data quality initiatives.
  • Providing training and coaching to system users.
  • Manage the build and maintenance of critical data source connections, ensuring refreshes are scheduled and representative of the current data landscape.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful Data Governance Analyst will be required to have the following experience:

  • Proven experience as a Data Governance Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Supported on implementing a data catalogue tool such as Collibra, Alation, or Informatica, but Precisely is the preferred option.
  • Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
  • Previous experience with querying data in SQL or Python.
  • Desirable experience would be experience working with customer, geographical, or finance data.
