Data Migration Analyst - sought by investment bank based in London - Contract - Hybrid

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Understanding of data migration principles.
Good understanding of source control principles and version management.
Knowledge of relevant file formats (XML, CSV, Text, JSON etc.), database, infrastructure
Proven experience in IT projects with the ability to manage documentation such as WBS, RAID, and migration scope.
Competency in analysing and interpreting data and producing high-quality written reports.

Desirable:

Experience as payment operation staff in Banking industry
Understanding of payments in the EMEA region, such as EUR SEPA payment, SEPA instant payment, GBP CHAPS payment, SWIFT international payment, Book Transfers etc.
Ability to communicate complex migration issues to non-technical stakeholders.
High level of IT systems competence, with the ability to self-teach and mentor others in data migration processes.
