Lead Data Quality Analyst

Salary: Up to £80,000Location: London

Our leading retail client is seeking a Data Quality Lead to join their expanding data team and drive the implementation of data quality tools and processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Technology Solutions: Lead the creation of systems to identify, measure, categorize, prioritize, and address the root causes of data quality issues.
  • Implement Best Practices: Establish and advocate for proactive strategies to prevent data quality problems from occurring.
  • Oversee Data Quality Tools and Processes: Manage the deployment and configuration of data quality tools, working closely with Data Management teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Promote Data Quality Awareness: Raise awareness of data quality management among both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Build and sustain strong relationships with source system owners and subject matter experts to secure long-term solutions for data quality issues.
  • Design and Deploy Monitoring Systems: Implement systems to enhance issue detection and reporting within Nucleus, leading to improved data quality.
  • Collaborate on Data Quality Standards: Work with Data Design and Data Engineering teams to establish and uphold standards for managing data quality throughout the delivery lifecycle and in production.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in mentorship or leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.
  • Experience with implementing data quality tools.
  • Familiarity with data platforms.
  • Experience with data catalog tools is a plus.
