Data Centre Supervisor - Canary Wharf - 58k + Package
We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Data Centre Supervisor to join an industry leader on a one of their Longest Standing Data Centre contracts in Canary Wharf. This is a pivotal role for ensuring the smooth operation of the state-of-the-art data centre, where you will provide day-to-day technical support and leadership to the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the data centre, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and proactive work environment.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on critical infrastructure and systems.
- Implement and enforce operational procedures to enhance performance and reliability.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Assist in the development and training of team members, promoting continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
Qualifications:
- Current or previous High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP) certification is essential.
- Proven experience in data centre operations or a similar critical environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
