Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Surveyor to join our dynamic team for a high-profile Data Centre project located near North Acton Station, West London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major project and further develop your career within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the MEP Commercial Manager in delivering commercial management and quantity surveying services on the Data Centre project.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage risks and variations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Manage the procurement process, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and making recommendations for subcontractor selection.
  • Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans, ensuring cost control and monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and assess the value of work done, preparing interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Assist with contract administration, including reviewing and preparing contracts, and managing payments and claims.
  • Work collaboratively with other project team members to ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Must have MEP experience, preferably within Data Centres.
  • Must come from a contractor background, and have had experience working on site.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field preferred but not essential (e.g., RICS, CIOB).
