A leading education establishment have an opening for a School Administrator to join their team. The School Administrator role involves supporting the HR Manager, assisting with recruitment, and providing a comprehensive and confidential administrative support service.
- Hourly rate: £19 P/H
- 2 days per week (Thursday and Friday) | Term time only
- Immediate start - ongoing role
School Administrator responsibilities:
- Supporting with the administration of all new starters including processing DBS and Occupational Health clearances, application forms and appointment checklists
- Assisting with contract variations and leavers
- Responsibility for the recording of staff information onto ITrent and SIMS
- Ensuring that all employee data and personnel files are secure, accurate, up-to-date, and fully compliant
- Referring staff to Occupational Health as directed by the HR Manager
- Advertising school vacancies on TES, the school website, and other media
- Managing and responding to all email and written enquiries and coordinating the taking up of references
- Corresponding with applicants at all stages of the recruitment process
- Producing itinerary for interviews, arranging panels, tours and rooms as required
- Liaising with payroll as necessary to submit payroll requests and resolve queries
- Producing reports from Bromcom as required by the HR Manager/Business Director
- Attending and participating in relevant meetings as required
School Administrator required skills/competencies:
- Enhanced DBS disclosure required
- Experience working within a school/educational setting desirable
- Proficient in IT systems including good working knowledge of Excel and Word
