A leading education establishment have an opening for a School Administrator to join their team. The School Administrator role involves supporting the HR Manager, assisting with recruitment, and providing a comprehensive and confidential administrative support service.

  • Hourly rate: £19 P/H
  • 2 days per week (Thursday and Friday) | Term time only
  • Immediate start - ongoing role

School Administrator responsibilities:

  • Supporting with the administration of all new starters including processing DBS and Occupational Health clearances, application forms and appointment checklists
  • Assisting with contract variations and leavers
  • Responsibility for the recording of staff information onto ITrent and SIMS
  • Ensuring that all employee data and personnel files are secure, accurate, up-to-date, and fully compliant
  • Referring staff to Occupational Health as directed by the HR Manager
  • Advertising school vacancies on TES, the school website, and other media
  • Managing and responding to all email and written enquiries and coordinating the taking up of references
  • Corresponding with applicants at all stages of the recruitment process
  • Producing itinerary for interviews, arranging panels, tours and rooms as required
  • Liaising with payroll as necessary to submit payroll requests and resolve queries
  • Producing reports from Bromcom as required by the HR Manager/Business Director
  • Attending and participating in relevant meetings as required

School Administrator required skills/competencies:

  • Enhanced DBS disclosure required
  • Experience working within a school/educational setting desirable
  • Proficient in IT systems including good working knowledge of Excel and Word
