Meridian Business Support is seeking a Data Protection Officer for a leading clinical homecare company located in Harlow (CM19).
The salary for this position ranges from £49,000 to £52,000, depending on experience.
The role requires a Monday to Friday commitment from 9 am to 5:30 pm and offers benefits such as 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, a company bonus scheme, and excellent training programs.
Candidates should have accredited qualifications in data protection and risk management, along with a deep understanding of GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Proven experience in managing data protection and privacy is required for this role.

Salary: £49,000 to £52,000 dependant on experience

As a Data Protection Officer your main responsibility will be to manage risks across the organisation and ensuring the company is complying to data protection laws. Along with this you will be responsible for:

Identifying and managing risks related to data protection to protect the company's assets and reputation
Creating policies and procedures to keep patient information secure
Develop and implement a data protection framework to ensure complaince with GDPR
Create and deliver training programs to roll out to all staff within the organisation to ensure all areaware of their responsibilities to protect data
Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance to data protection laws.

The successful Data Protection Officer will:

Hold accredited qualifications in data protection and risk management
Have a deep understanding of GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 and other related regulations
Be able to communicate complex information clearly to ensure understanding and compliance within the organisation
Proven track record in managing data protection and privacy
