Role: Data Engineer
Length: Initially until 31/03/25 - with a view to extend
Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Pay Rate: 390 per day
One of my UK public sector clients are currently looking for a Data Engineer. They are looking for a Data Engineer to join them on a hybrid basis with travel to their offices based in London, Newcastle or Coventry 3 days per week. The initial contract runs until the end of March - this does have a view to extend beyond this date.
They are interested in Data Engineers with experience of working in an Agile environment amongst multi-disciplinary teams. Past experience of working within the public sector would be ideal, although this is not essential.
Requirements:
- Practical implementation of data solutions using Azure tech stack (Data factory, DataLakes, Notebooks, Synapse warehouse)
- Worked with varied data sources (On-Prem databases, Data Lakes, ERP systems)
- Experience with API Integration
- Has prior experience with complex data transformation using PYSPARK, SQL and optimisation techniques.
- Good understanding of Data modelling and Warehousing concepts.
- Data Documentation experience
- Basic Machine learning experience
