Data Engineer - Inside IR35

My client, a renowned retail bank in London are seeking a talented Data Engineer to provide data led security insights to the wider business. The Data Engineer will design, develop and implement data solutions on the Azure cloud platform.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation of data pipelines to ensure the data is collected, stored and processed efficiently.

Ideally, the Data Engineer must have a proven track record of delivering complex data engineering projects within a banking environment.

The ideal candidate must have:

Strong Data Engineering experience
Azure cloud experience (Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Synapse)
Python, SQL, Spark for data processing
Data Visualisation tooling experience - Power BI and Tableau
Knowledge of security tools and risk frameworks
ETL Pipelining experience
Regulatory reporting experience within a banking environment
Strong communication skills
