This role sits at the heart of that transformation, and we're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to help modernise and centralise their data infrastructure. You'll be introduced to key stakeholders and subject matter experts as part of the process.

This is a newly created position driven by an increased need for resources on strategic data projects. As part of the company's long-term roadmap, they are investing in a hybrid cloud environment and centralised data platform, necessitating the addition of top-tier engineering talent.

We're looking for someone with solid technical foundations and proven experience across the following technologies:

  • Core skills: Python, SQL

  • Cloud platforms: AWS (including S3, Redshift, Kinesis)

  • Azure: Especially Azure Fabric - the business is transitioning from AWS to Azure Fabric, so experience in data migration and centralisation across cloud platforms is essential.

  • Build and deliver robust, cleanly coded, and well-documented data pipelines

Additional Information

  • Certifications in AWS or Azure are beneficial but not essential.

  • The platform is in early development stages, so a proactive, hands-on engineer is ideal for shaping its maturity.

You'll be joining at the ground level of an exciting transformation project. Our partner is looking to move fast on this hire, and there is potential for the role to evolve into a longer-term or even permanent position.
