Role: SQL Data Analyst/ Developer Location: London/ Hybrid - 3 days in the office My client, a leading specialty Managing General Agent (MGA) are looking for an experience SQL Data Analyst/ Developer to join their London team.You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server-based data solutions, support an in-house data warehouse, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve business requirements. This role demands a strong focus on SQL Server development and Lloyd's market experience.Key Responsibilities:* SQL Server Development: Create and maintain SQL Server objects, develop SSRS reports, and troubleshoot issues.* Data Integration: Work on SSIS packages and assist with API and cloud computing projects.* Business Collaboration: Partner with business users to analyse requirements and suggest technical solutions.* Compliance: Ensure adherence to coding standards, version control, and production release protocols.* Support Functions: Provide technical support to other teams and contribute to onboarding new clients.Required Skills and Experience:* SQL Expertise: Strong understanding of the SQL Server stack (SSRS, SSIS, SQL Azure preferred) with extensive experience in similar roles.* Lloyd's Market Knowledge: Significant experience in the Lloyd's insurance market, with exposure to all insurance processes.* Technical Skills: Proficiency in T-SQL is essential; knowledge of C#, SharePoint, APIs, or web development is advantageous.* Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with excellent documentation and attention to detail.Additional Attributes:* Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of liaising with clients and colleagues effectively.* Adaptable under pressure, with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.* Team player with a proactive attitude, aligned with organisational values.
