We are looking for senior SQL developers/DBA to join the multi-disciplinary Integration Platform team developing software for our new Integration platform.

You will predominantly be working to deliver a new messaging platform working with emerging healthcare technologies, standards, clinical data stores, web services and helping to develop the next wave of digital healthcare platforms

Essential experience

  • Writing complex data manipulation statements using T-SQL as stored procedures and functions.
  • Monitoring, maintenance and tuning of high-volume operational databases
  • Normalisation techniques and ER-diagramming to design and create scalable, high-performance databases
  • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio 2008 - 2019
  • Creating, and using, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services packages 2008+.
  • Experience with HL7 v 2.x and FHIR messaging standards
  • Redgate SQL developer tools
  • Brent Ozar First Responder Kit
  • Requirements analysis
  • tSQLt - Unit Testing SQL Procedures
  • Unix/PowerShell Scripting
  • Knowledge of High Availability solutions, such as Mirroring, Replication, Clustering, and Always On (Availability Groups)
