Do you have experience in academic administration? Are you proactive with excellent data management and Excel skills? If so, Signature Recruitment is excited to offer a Data Administrator role for our client, a leading university in London. This is a temporary position with an immediate start for a one-month period with the possibility to extend. It is offered on a hybrid working arrangement with at least two days on campus.

As a Data Administrator within this higher education setting, you will be at the heart of the academic community, working in a project-based role. Your day-to-day tasks will include working with large data sets, collecting, inputting and retrieving information. This position requires excellent data management skills with superb attention to detail - working with precision and focus in a busy environment.

Data Administrator Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Academic Lead and other team members with a limited time project working towards the delivery of a high-quality student experience
  • Working with large data sets relating to student assessment and feedback
  • Ensuring accurate data retrieval and collection using SharePoint and other university specific software
  • Organising data management, analysing and interpreting data and when required preparing reports
  • Other administrative tasks in order to assist with the smooth running of the project, department and wider university
Data Administrator Key Skills:
  • Experience in a higher education administration. Particularly with data retrieval, collection and management
  • Highly proficient IT Skills. To include Microsoft Office particularly Excel for handling large data sets, confident using SharePoint and a good working knowledge of student systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication with an ability to communicate professionally with all stakeholders
  • A friendly team player with good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently, meeting deadlines
