I've partnered with an exciting client that's rapidly expanding and they need a skilled Data Analyst to join their hybrid MI & Analytics team in London.

This company is a leading player in the global insurance and reinsurance industry, recognised for its innovative solutions and comprehensive services. With underwriting hubs across key locations worldwide, they provide intelligent risk solutions that empower clients and brokers around the globe.

About the Role:

As a Data Analyst, you will report to the Head of Claims Analytics and work closely with the Claims & Legacy team. You will be responsible for sourcing, organising, and optimising data to drive strategic decisions, with opportunities to develop analytic tools and create impactful visualizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and manage analytic tools, databases, data marts, reports, and dashboards.
  • Provide crucial data analysis to support various business initiatives.
  • Access data, run queries, and analyse large datasets using SQL, Python, R, and Tableau.
  • Present insights in a clear, visually engaging manner to non-technical stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, analytics, economics, or statistics) preferred.
  • Experience with actuarial, financial data analysis, or business intelligence.
  • Strong programming skills (SQL, Python, R, Tableau).
  • Excellent analytical thinking, with the ability to solve complex problems and communicate findings effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
