Then this is a role for you!! Salary - £35,000 DOE Shift - Monday to Friday Hours - 9am to 5pmMain Duties * Stewardship of master data integrity in SAGE x3 & SAP B1 for a portfolio of over 300 SKUs of Finished Goods and over a 1000 SKUs of RM* Provide training and guidance to cross functional teams on master data processes and the impact of master data across the various functions within the company's system infrastructure* Ensuring product setup workflow is being followed and data is entered as per agreed timelines by all relevant teams, escalating promptly if required * Support IT in assessing all requests to create or change master data (materials, customers, production planning data, routings, hierarchies, bills of materials etc) to ensure the requests conform to existing business processes and systems* Maintain and update Bill of Material data promptly to accurately reflect changes whilst maintaining version control and traceability at all times* Regularly report & communicate to key stakeholders impacted by changes in master data to ensure accuracy of forward plans, purchases and productions * Liaising with cross functional stakeholders to update BoM effectivity dates to reflect material changes, minimising write-offs and ensuring replacement material availability* Troubleshoot problems related to incorrect values in SAGE x3 & SAP B1 Master Data* Identify master data integrity & governance issues, make recommendations and implement solutions to optimise processes and procedures * Support good data management practices by regularly identifying old item codes and archiving them in collaboration with IT support* Support Operations and Commercial teams' decision making and business planning by proactively researching master data, identifying trends and presenting insights to stakeholdersQualifications:* Strong analytical skills* Ability to meet deadlines whilst assuring high quality of delivery* Effective communication skills* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams* Familiarity working with and analysing large data setsExperience: * Demonstrable related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Experience using ERP essential (SAGE or SAP)* Development of trend reports or presentations based on data research
