Seeking- Data Analyst9 Month Contract- Inside IR35Hybrid- London/WaterlooRoles and Responsibilities:The Principal Data Analyst is an active thought partner who shapes the Business demand and work closely with the Project / Product teams and stakeholders for end-to-end solutions on data platforms for the Business to maximize value from data. The role helps create a data-driven thinking within the organization, not just within IT teams, but also in the wider business stakeholder community. As a Principal Data Analyst, you are a subject matter expert, who designs & builds governance solutions and mentors junior Data Analysts. You are also the key person to convert the Vison and Data & Analytics Strategies into IT solutions and deliver them. They will also be accountable for adhering to Shell quality standards for producing digital solutions. This Role is within the Information, Data and Analytics (IDA) team/IT Digital Engineering VPship.

Key CharacteristicsHands-on Techno-Functional delivery leader for Data Platforms & Visible community leader for Data Analysts.A skilled communicator capable of speaking to both technical developers and business managers.Coordinate the change management process, incident management and problem management process.Accountable for delivery of data platform products in a production scale environmentManage the product lifecycle especially relating to data Platform, development to supportDrives & contributes to community like CoE , CoP.Perform root cause analysis on Data problems and translate Data requirements into functionality.Mandatory skills:Data Analysis Techniques and Processes - MasteryData Quality [Cleansing & Mapping] - MasteryData Modeling - MasteryData Design & Ingestion - MasteryData Maturity Assessments & Strategy - SkillData Integration - SkillAnalytical skills - working with unstructured datasets - SkillOptional skills:Experience in project management, running a scrum team, Managing small teamsExperience of working in a global business environmentExperience in Devops, Git Strategy & CICD Pipelines.
