About the Role:

We are working with a leading British train operating company. Our client is seeking a HR Systems & Data Analyst to maintain, develop, and support HR information systems while providing key management data and insights. You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing HR processes, automation, and reporting to drive business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Systems Management - Develop, integrate, and optimize HR systems, providing training and support to stakeholders.
  • Data & Analytics - Produce and analyse HR reports, identify trends, and ensure data integrity.
  • System Administration - Oversee system security, GDPR compliance, and support upgrades and enhancements.
  • Process Improvement - Drive automation and efficiency within HR systems and reporting processes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Technical Expertise - Experience with iTrent, Business Objects, and Power BI is essential.
  • Data & Reporting Skills - Strong background in HR analytics, including Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and reporting tools.
  • Problem-Solving Ability - A proactive, analytical thinker who can troubleshoot and recommend system improvements.
  • Communication & Training - Ability to train and support colleagues in system use.
  • Flexibility & Attention to Detail - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate insights.
