Data Architecture - Senior Manager - Global Consulting/ Advisory - London (Hybrid Working)

Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with a global Business Consulting firm who are seeking a Senior Manager to join their rapidly scaling Data Architecture/ Data Analytics department. As a business they employ over 9000 people across 80 worldwide offices.

The Role

This is a Senior Manager level role. As a Cloud Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimising data solutions in the cloud. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the cloud-based data infrastructure is scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud data architecture, data modelling, data governance, and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.

Senior Managers partner with their clients to solve complex business problems and provide best in class advice and solutions. Senior Managers have a solid understanding of their client's business and demonstrate technical competence in their solution and industry. Senior Managers can clearly articulate the value drivers of our business and are responsible for developing opportunities both at existing clients and new clients. Senior Managers are responsible for job economics and for ensuring seamless project management. Senior Managers are developing future contacts within the business community and serve as business ambassadors

Skills & Experiences

  • Proven expertise in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud-native data services (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, AWS Redshift).
  • Strong understanding of data modelling (relational, dimensional, NoSQL) and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Apache Kafka, Talend, Informatica) and APIs.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and real-time streaming
  • Expertise in cloud security, data governance, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Strong SQL skills and proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Ability to travel as necessary to meet client needs

£90-100k Base + 15-20% Bonus & Excellent Benefits
