We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Assistant to join our administrative team.Key Responsibilities:

  • SIMS Day-to-Day Operations:Manage and maintain the school's SIMS database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • SIMS Marksheets and Assessment:Handle the creation and management of marksheets and assessment data within SIMS.
  • Excel Spreadsheets/Pivot Tables/Graphs:Utilise Excel to create and manage spreadsheets, pivot tables, and graphs for data analysis and reporting.
  • Publisher:Perform general desktop publishing tasks using Microsoft Publisher to support school communications and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience:Proven experience in a similar data assistant role, preferably within a school setting.
  • School Experience:Familiarity with the school environment and administrative processes.
  • Enhanced DBS:A current Enhanced DBS check is required.
  • SIMS Knowledge:Proficiency in using SIMS for various administrative tasks.
  • Technical Skills:Strong skills in Excel and Publisher, with the ability to create detailed reports and publications.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
