Data Enablement Analyst – LondonA Data Enablement Analyst is required for a bank in London to join their existing team driving the data standards, efficiency, and governance across the organisation to ensure the bank’s business goals are met.This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract - paid as an annual salary including benefits e.g. pension, bonus etc.You will probably come from a Data Management or Data Governance background, ideally within financial services or other regulated industry, with large amounts of data.Working with the business, you must be excellent at building relationships with stakeholders of all levels – a significant part of this role is winning over hearts & minds in order to ensure people across the firm buy into the data vision.Responsibilities
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to understand processes and data issues
  • Support the business in creating robust documentation for key data
  • Define, measure and monitor data quality
  • Maintain data lineage
  • Support data usage requests, applying security and data privacy processes
  • Gain a thorough understanding of existing systems and recommend new systems to improve processes, data management and data accuracy across the business
Essential Experience
  • Hands-on experience of a data governance, data quality role
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship skills
  • Demonstrable experience with
    • Data catalogues
    • Data Lineage
    • Data Mapping
    • Data Quality
  • Analytical skills, including good SQL and, ideally, PowerBI
  • Preparation, review and presentation of data
  • Working within a large data environment within a regulated environment, ideally financial services
  • Experience of working within Wealth Management or Banking is a distinct advantage
