Data Management Lead – Oracle Fusion Cloud

Hybrid – 3 days per week in Kilburn, 2 WFH

£54,460 - £66,356 per annum + public sector pension

We are excited to announce the opening for a Data Management Lead as part of the newly approved centralised service delivery model, Business Services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of critical data across HR, commercial, and financial domains. The successful candidate will lead the Data Management Analysts and Reporting Analysts, driving data management solutions and supporting the transformation of business services.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Extend and promote the Data Management Service, championing best practices and a culture of data stewardship.
  • Engage with various stakeholders across to understand data needs, defining and implementing data management strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement data management technologies and solutions.
  • Oversee data-related risk monitoring and compliance, ensuring data privacy and protection standards are met.
  • Develop and oversee data management roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to gather information and achieve consensus.
  • Ensure alignment of data services with broader data strategies and stakeholder needs.
  • Monitor service performance against SLAs and address performance issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in leading data management initiatives, including data modelling and master data management.
  • Authoritative knowledge of management and operations of best-in-practice ERP platforms – preferably Oracle ERP (EBS or Fusion)
  • Strong background in managing data within enterprise-wide or Shared Services operations, preferably in the Public Sector.
  • Expertise in managing master data objects within Finance, Commercial, and HR.
  • Proven ability to develop teams focused on high data accuracy and integrity.
  • Experience in implementing large data and technology infrastructures.
  • Strong knowledge of data management technologies, tools, and platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Leadership experience with strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field is preferable.
  • Professional qualifications such as DAMA - CDMP, EDM - DCAM, CDMC, Oracle - OCP are advantageous.
