The Data Migration Lead will play a critical role in integrating acquired entities onto a unified ERP platform. Reporting to the Project Manager, this hands-on position involves leading data mapping, transformation, and validation activities to ensure seamless migration of financial operations.
By collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging advanced SAP tools, you will help enhance data integrity, streamline processes, and support the strategic growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and oversee data migration activities for SAP solutions, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to address resource constraints and align migration plans across multiple projects.
- Conduct data migration meetings and provide weekly updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress and addressing challenges.
- Work with IT, finance, and external vendors to define data migration strategies and gather requirements.
- Perform detailed data analysis, addressing inconsistencies, and implementing corrective actions for quality assurance.
- Design and execute data mapping, transformation, and validation processes for accurate ERP integration.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including migration plans, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct rigorous testing to ensure migrated data meets integrity and compliance standards.
- Lead workshops with acquired business teams to align on data requirements and specifications.
- Identify and mitigate risks, escalating critical issues as necessary.
What We're Looking For
- Expertise in SAP data migration tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, SAP SDI, SAP Migration Cockpit).
- Proven ability to address data quality challenges and define corrective measures.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Broader understanding of data strategies in non-SAP systems complementary to SAP landscapes.
- Experience in data lifecycle management and Information Lifecycle Management strategies.
