I am working with a Leading London Market Insurance organisation who are looking for a bordereau Analyst to come and join them

I am working with a leading London Market Insurer who are offer a unique opportunity to take responsibility for the data that fuels an innovative risk analytics platform at one of London's fastest-growing FinTech start-ups. You will work within a talented technology team, and while past tech experience is not required, a keen attention to detail and a clear approach to problem-solving are essential.

About Us:

They are a specliasit independent Managing General Underwriter, they are dynamic company embracing modern technology to enhance our offering. Without the constraints of legacy systems, we are building a next-generation analytics platform for both internal employees and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Sourcing & Ingestion: Collaborate with a close-knit team of data professionals and technologists to source, ingest, and maintain high-quality data.
  • Data Quality Controls: Ensure timely and accurate ingestion of data from clients and business partners.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across the company to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Mentorship: Act as a mentor within the team, providing guidance to less experienced team members.
  • Client Interaction: Liaise with external partners (brokers, data providers) and participate in client product demos.
  • Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations across risk, claim, and premium datasets.
  • Process Automation: Work closely with tech peers to identify tasks that can be automated, allowing you to focus on more complex challenges.

  • Extensive experience in reviewing and processing risk/claim/premium bordereaux.
  • Proficiency in Excel manipulation for data analysis.
  • Experience setting up and handling Lloyd's Binding Authorities.
  • Experience with risk reports and liaising with underwriters and clients.
  • Familiarity with platforms like DDM, IRIS, or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of Lloyd's and Company market practices.
  • Experience with IMR, Xchanging, or Lineage systems.
