Data Reporting Lead (HR Data) - Oracle Analytics Cloud

  • Location: Central London (Hybrid - 3 days on-site - mandatory)

We are seeking a Reporting Lead to join our client’s team on an initial 6-month contract. The role involves working closely with the Head of Reporting and senior analysts to deliver reporting processes and improvements across client’s functions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving, managing, and maintaining reporting and analysis services to enable data-driven decision-making and support compliance with relevant regulations.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead technical design and build of dashboards and reports to drive business insight based on stakeholder requirements.
  • Manage the gathering of reporting needs, requirements definition, and the establishment of KPIs, measures, and metrics for reporting solutions.
  • Analyse data within reports to provide insight for strategic decision-making.
  • Support the Reporting Lead in executing a reporting capability that adapts to changing business needs and technology enhancements.
  • Lead reporting and dashboard testing to ensure quality assurance and requirement fulfilment.
  • Monitor reporting and dashboard usage, providing lifecycle reports and diagnoses to relevant stakeholders.
  • Research, design, develop, test, and deploy new reporting features and enhancements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, ensuring a single data set and one version of the truth.
  • Optimize the usability and user experience of reporting tools.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of dashboards, reports, and visualisations using Oracle Analytics Cloud and other tools like Tableau and Power BI.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • The focus is on HR, experience with HR data sets i.e. Core HR, Recruitment, Payroll etc. is essential  
  • Knowledge of operations of Oracle ERP platforms, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Oracle Integration Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of data reporting technologies and platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, advanced Excel, SQL, data mining, and dashboard tools like Oracle ERP and Analytics Cloud.
  • Experience in analytic methodologies and reporting techniques.
  • Demonstrable experience in data management principles and reporting techniques.
  • Understanding of core end-to-end services covering Commercial, Finance, and HR scope.
  • Familiarity with best practices and technologies used for the delivery of public sector back-office services.
