My Client, a Retail Bank in London, are seeking an experienced Data Steward who will play a key part in supporting the Data Governance activities within the team.

This role will sit within the risk analytics team, where the Data Steward will play a key part in supporting an array of initiatives such as; supporting the data governance policy of the bank, perform data lineage activities and facilitate cross functional communication on data governance related topics.

The candidate must have the following skill-set:

  • Data governance experience within a financial services organisation
  • Have a strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality principles and data management best practices;
  • Basic knowledge of SAS and SQL is desirable
  • Experience with various MS Excel features such as formulas and pivot tables;
  • Experience of working within a regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Degree educated or equivalent, preferably in computer science, information management, data science or similar
