My Client, a Retail Bank in London, is looking for an experienced Data Steward to support Data Governance activities within the risk analytics team.
The role involves supporting the bank's data governance policy, performing data lineage activities, and facilitating communication on data governance topics.
Candidates must have data governance experience in financial services and a strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality principles.
Basic knowledge of SAS and SQL, as well as proficiency in MS Excel, is desirable, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
The position requires a degree or equivalent in a relevant field, and the salary for this role is competitive, with a minimum of 3 years of experience required.

My Client, a Retail Bank in London, are seeking an experienced Data Steward who will play a key part in supporting the Data Governance activities within the team.

This role will sit within the risk analytics team, where the Data Steward will play a key part in supporting an array of initiatives such as; supporting the data governance policy of the bank, perform data lineage activities and facilitate cross functional communication on data governance related topics.

The candidate must have the following skill-set:

Data governance experience within a financial services organisation
Have a strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality principles and data management best practices;
Basic knowledge of SAS and SQL is desirable
Experience with various MS Excel features such as formulas and pivot tables;
Experience of working within a regulatory environment
Excellent communication skills
Strong stakeholder management experience
Degree educated or equivalent, preferably in computer science, information management, data science or similar
