Leading Commercial Bank seeks their first Data Steward.
Location: London (3 days p/w in the office)
Salary: £80,000

As a Data Steward, you will bridge the gap between Risk and Data Governance, ensuring data quality and reliability across risk reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing and championing data governance frameworks within the Risk function
- Working closely with Credit Risk teams to enhance data quality and ownership
- Mapping data lineage for key risk reports and outcomes
- Preparing and presenting materials for data governance forums
- Training stakeholders on data governance best practices
Required Experience
- Background in Banking Risk (particularly Credit Risk)
- Minimum 1 years' experience in data governance within financial services
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality principles
- Basic SQL or programming knowledge for understanding report logic and data lineage
- Experience in stakeholder management and presenting to senior audiences
