Database Engineer (DBA/SQL)

Salary : Up to £75,000 plus generous benefits

Location : Central London - 3 days office, 2 days home

We're looking for an experienced Database Engineer (DBA) to join an industry leading organisation that are going through a period of growth due to continued success! You'd be part of a small but dedicated team that has access and supports a large, complex amount of data from various sources around the globe!

This will be a SQL and SQL Server focused role, both on premise and Azure focused and you'll be responsible for BAU, projects and resolutions within this space

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work as part of a team to administer both on-premise and azure-based servers, as well as working on further migration projects
  • To help manage the data warehouse environment, predominately with SSIS and SQL. Establishing a robust, high-availability database systems
  • Continuing to develop and maintain the SQL Server systems and processes to ensure stability & optimisation. Collaborating with stakeholders to design & develop solutions that align with the organisations requirements and strategies.
  • You'll also assist in migrations, projects and optimisation of the environment
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities with a proactive mindset, monitoring the environment to identify & address performance issues, vulnerabilities etc
