Sonic Summary

The role is for an Investment Operations Data Analyst with a contract duration of 6 months.
The position offers a daily rate of £500 to £550 and is primarily remote with occasional travel to London.
Candidates should have experience in investment data analysis, specifically in testing the quality of fund accounting, custody, and pricing data.
A strong understanding of various investment instruments and operations, as well as SQL skills for writing complex queries, is required.
Experience with ABOR and/or IBOR systems and testing documentation is essential, with a preference for candidates having knowledge of Snowflake.

Investment Operations Data Analyst

Remote - Occasional travel to London

We are looking for someone from a strong Investment data analysis background who can specifically test the quality of fund accounting, custody and pricing data. The resource will be responsible for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to understand / confirm data attributes / requirements alongside other Data SME's, and then responsible for building out necessary testing documentation (plan / cases / scripts) and conduct the testing themselves.

- Understanding of a broad range of investment instruments (equities, FI, Cash like, TRS, CDS etc)- Knowledge of investment operations (trade lifecycle, corporate actions)- Understanding of accounting cycles (GL vs trial balance etc)- Experience working on ABOR and/or IBOR systems- Setting & evaluation of controls - SQL skills - ability to write complex queries- Test experience- Snowflake experience (optional)
