London Fire Brigade, one of our largest public sector clients based in London are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join their project team for a short assignment due to the implementation of a new HR/Payroll system. The role involves recreating all their existing SSRS and PowerBI reports to point at a new data source. This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise in data handling and report generation.
- Hourly Rate: £30.64 per hour PAYE or £39.27 per hour Umbrella
- Location: Hybrid (Remote / Union Street)
- Contract Duration: 2 months
- Working Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week or can be done 5 days a week for a short contract length.
Key responsibilities:
- Work alongside the HR Data team to rebuild approximately 77 SSRS reports.
- Provide support in the rebuilding of PowerBI reports, including updating underlying queries.
- Ensure that the output of reports matches existing ones through thorough testing.
- Understand and resolve data issues to achieve successful report outcomes and sign off.
- Use expertise to combine and streamline existing reports, such as those on the same topic area but with extra filters.
- Be mindful of the audience of the report in the production and design.
- Transfer iTrent skills and insights to the HR Data Team and other colleagues.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent skills in SSRS, SQL, and PowerBI.
- Experience with iTrent, particularly in position management.
- Strong understanding of data privacy and sensitivity issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven track record of handling large datasets and generating accurate reports.
