Provide is currently hiring a Senior Data Engineer on behalf of a well-established Software Engineering business that provides solutions for the Ecommerce industry. This individual will be apart of a team that is building large scale data systems and pipelines.

Key responsibilities

Design, build and support large scale data systems, driving data infrastructure forward to enable their products and services.
Developing data pipelines, optimize storage, and retrieval processes. Ensuring the reliability and scalability of data architecture.
Collaborating with cross functional teams to obtain data requirements, implementing solutions and troubleshooting.
Implementing Software Engineering best practises to ensure efficiency, maintenance, and robustness of data systems.

Your profile

Experience in designing and building scalable data systems and pipelines, with the use of open source and cloud technologies.
Coding experience with Python and SQL.
Experience with Data Build Tool
Data orchestration tools experience such as Apache Airflow or Dagster.
Experience working in a AWS cloud environment.
Knowledge of software engineering practises such as testing, CI/CD, agile development, git, and containers.
Experience coaching or leading engineers.
