Senior Data & Support Engineer:

Our Financial Services client is seeking a Senior Data & Support Engineer to develop and support their Business Intelligence (BI) functions, including the data warehouse. This role requires collaboration with divisional teams, with a strong focus on supporting the finance department. This is a permanent role based in London and is hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for data access, ingestion, processing, integration, visualisation, and analytics.
Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate business insights.
Manage the data warehouse and regulatory reporting tools.
Oversee overnight data feeds from internal and external sources.
Perform database administration.

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Knowledge of data management tools (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse, SQL, Data Lake).
Proficient in SQL and Power BI.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
