Workday Data Consultant - SAP - Remote Working - Inside IR35
Our client are currently looking to hire a Workday Data Consultant - SAP to join the team on a remote working contract basis.
In this role your expertise will contribute to efficient data movement, transformation, and loading processes, as well as data governance.
Responsibilities:- Data Integration and ETL Development:
- Create and optimise data workflows, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Data Quality and Governance:
- Work closely with data stewards to improve data quality across the organisation.
- Data Modelling and Mapping:
- Define data models, mappings, and transformations to meet business needs.
- Ensure alignment with data governance policies and standards.
- Performance Tuning and Optimisation:
- Identify bottlenecks and optimise data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Error Handling and Troubleshooting:
- Implement error handling mechanisms to handle data exceptions and failures.
- Troubleshoot issues related to data integration, transformation, and data quality.
- Documentation and Training:
- Document technical specifications, data mappings, and ETL processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users and other team members.
- Expertise in Workday
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Fluent English both spoken and written
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with a focus on data integration, ETL development, and data quality
- Knowledge of SAP HCM/SAP Payroll and Workday data models
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs
- Familiarity with Nested Schema (JSON/XML)
- Experience with Power BI
- Strong knowledge of HANA SQL and ability to write complex SQL queries and procedures
