My client is is an international data and technology consultancy with £154m turnover and 1100 employees.

We are recruiting for an Data Engineer within the Marketing group who will be responsible for leading and developing a range of projects and deliverables.

Role :

You will be responsible for leading and developing a range of projects and deliverables including; audience insight through pen portrait and persona creation, new proposition development, pitching for new business, KPI and reporting dashboard creation and delivery.

The candidate must have proven experience in client management, understanding of the use of data to improve marketing communications and business performance, problem solving, be able to work on multiple projects across the same timeframe, managing virtual project teams and delivering to client briefs and budgets.

Must have :

  • Strong analytical and numerical ability - able to analyse and interpret data and make recommendations based on data and market trends
  • Proficient and demonstrable experience in building dashboards in a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Excellent visual skills, including demonstrable design knowledge, such as layout, colour and design
  • Advanced use of Microsoft PowerPoint - the ability to create visually engaging presentations, alongside strong presentation skills
  • Experience in presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Experience of turning data and analysis into actionable insight, the ability to work with large amounts of information and see the 'bigger picture’
  • Experience of using data to drive marketing or business decision making to improve commercial performance
  • Good / advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Structured, analytical approach to problem-solving and a high attention to detail
