This is an incredible opportunity to take a leadership role in shaping the future of data architecture within a forward-thinking company. Based in London, the role offers a hybrid working model, providing the ideal balance between flexibility and collaboration.The Role:As a Data Architect, you will be pivotal in designing and delivering cutting-edge data solutions. This role requires a mix of technical expertise and strong leadership skills, working closely with cross-functional teams and mentoring data professionals.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain data models, integration strategies, and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to define and deliver robust data solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend data platforms, tools, and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and governance regulations.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data engineering team.
  • Drive innovation and stay ahead of emerging trends in data architecture and analytics.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a strong track record of designing and implementing impactful data solutions.
  • Expertise in data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with database technologies, including SQL, NoSQL, and Big Data platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring data engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience implementing industry-standard Fabric solutions, including both Fabric Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions.
  • Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Microsoft certifications such as Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, DP-203 Azure Data Engineering, or AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect are a plus.
