Data Engineer - London - Contract

My client is seeking an experienced contractor for a 3-month project (with potential extension) to work on data extraction into PostgreSQL Datamarts using Apache Airflow. The project’s technical architecture is already completed, and you'll be responsible for implementing the solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement data extraction pipelines into PostgreSQL
  • Use Apache Airflow to manage workflows
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with the existing architecture
  • Work extensively with SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Align the solution with the initial proposal, incorporating Azure Synapse
Requirements:
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, and Apache Airflow
  • Expertise in data extraction and transformation
  • Familiarity with SQL and Azure Synapse
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions

Start Date: Early NovemberLocation: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in-office (Central London), the rest remote.
