The Role

As a Data Engineer, you will:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support the agency's analytics and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure data availability and accuracy.
  • Develop and optimise data architecture, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the business.
  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud to manage and process large datasets.
  • Implement data governance practices to ensure data quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring they run efficiently and reliably.
  • Develop automated processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering to continuously improve the agency's capabilities.

You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer, preferably within the media or digital marketing industry.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in building and optimising data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • A solid understanding of database systems, data modelling, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for data, with a keen interest in staying up to date with the latest industry trends.
