Diital Data Engineer - Media - £50,000 - £60,000

The Company

From women's and celebrities' magazines to TV listings to food and special interest, we own some of the most popular publishing brands in Germany, UK, Poland and France - both digital and print. But not only that. Reaching over 61 million listeners weekly, they operate over 150 radio and podcast brands in nine countries, spanning the UK, Ireland, Poland, Slovakia, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Portugal.

You will be part of a growing data engineering team and function as this UK powerhouse look to double down on their data analytics capability and infrastructure.

  • The company have offices all over the world, including London - the main office for this role
  • The company are very flexible and only a minimum of 1 day in the London or Peterbrough office a week
  • You will get the chance to work with some of the biggest brands currently in media across different platforms

The Job

  • Build and support data pipelines,
  • Ensure the smooth running of existing pipelines and integrating new datasets
  • Work closely with the data product managers to understand their requirements
  • Deliver robust and usable datasets and tools.
  • Work with cloud technologies such as AWS/GCP
  • Help develop advanced reporting and business intelligence systems for CRM, digital, marketing and customer data.

You

  • Strong proficiency with SQL and Python
  • 2-5 years experience in a Data engineer role
  • Ideally some experience with APIs and AWS or GCP
  • Degree level educated
