About the Role:
As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing cutting-edge data platforms, including the Group Data Lakehouse. Collaborating closely with key business stakeholders, regional data teams, and IT, you will ensure best practices in data management while delivering high-impact projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and optimisation of the Group Data Lakehouse and related platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver tailored data solutions.
- Implement data management frameworks to maintain quality and integrity.
- Review and refine solutions to align with organisational objectives.
- Oversee multiple agile projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and support to regional data teams.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in Data Lake housing practices, with expertise in SQL, Data Bricks, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- A strong background in data management with hands-on technical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience in MGAs, (re)insurance carriers, or similar financial services (highly desirable).
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
