Data Engineer - Independent Agency - London

Join a fantastic independent agency based in London, driving innovation in data-driven marketing solutions and evidence-based approaches, shaped by the needs of their clients. They have awesome clients spanning multiple industries including retail, gaming, travel and charity.

They are looking for a talented Data Engineer to take ownership of ETL pipelines, data engineering projects, and cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with the channel teams and clients to ensure seamless data availability and usability. As a key player in the digital & data team, you'll also contribute to product design, system architecture, and the continuous evolution of data solutions.

The role:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of ETL pipelines and data engineering projects.
• Work closely with media teams and stakeholders to ensure data is available, accurate, and interpretable.
• Provide expert client-facing on boarding and troubleshooting for data solutions.
• Contribute to product design and architecture discussions, proposing and developing innovative solutions.
• Manage cloud infrastructure supporting our data services.
• adherence to best practices for data governance and data security.
• Act as a data solutions champion, encouraging internal adoption of systems and supporting smooth implementation.
• Work collaboratively with team members, suppliers, and clients to meet high-quality delivery standards.

You:

• Proven experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development.
• Strong understanding of digital media channels.
• Hands-on experience with Adverity or similar data integration platforms.
• Experience managing cloud-based data infrastructure.
• Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-centric mindset.
