The Role
Working Mon-Fri from their Piccadilly Circus offices, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join their rapidly expanding talented team. Position Overview
As a Data Engineer, you will be an integral part of their SaaS product team, focusing on enhancing and improving their data engineering function. You will leverage the latest data engineering tools and techniques and apply your knowledge in AI and Machine Learning (ML). You will collaborate closely with their data scientists, product managers, and other engineering teams to develop scalable data solutions that drive their business forward.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems.
Implement and deploy robust data models and ensure data quality and integrity.
Collaborate with AI and ML teams to integrate advanced analytics and machine learning solutions.
Optimize data workflows and processes for efficiency and performance improvements.
Utilize tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and SQL to manage and process large datasets.
Develop and implement data governance and security protocols.
Required
Proven track record of using the latest data engineering tools and techniques
Experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and SQL.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.
Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Redshift or Snowflake.
Strong knowledge and experience in AI and Machine Learning techniques.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience in integrating AI and ML models into data workflows.
Experience with ETL tools and implementing ETL pipelines.
Beneficial
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of Generative AI and its applications.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
