A consulting client is seeking a GCP-focused Data Engineer for important projects.
The role involves designing and optimizing data pipelines on GCP, primarily using BigQuery.
Candidates should have strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with GCP data services, including Dataflow and Cloud Storage.
The position offers a salary of up to £550 per day outside IR35 and is fully remote within the UK.
A minimum of 6 months of experience is required, with the possibility of extension.

A long term client of ours within consulting are searching for a GCP focused Data Engineer to join them on important projects.

In this role, you will design, implement, and optimise scalable data pipelines on GCP (primarily BigQuery), ensure database performance and data integrity, develop ETL/ELT processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, automate workflows, and mentor junior engineers.

Experience Required:

Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale datasets.
Hands-on expertise with BigQuery and GCP data services (Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub).
Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline design and data modelling best practices.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring abilities.

Important Details:

Up to £550 per day outside IR35
Fully remote from anywhere in the UK
6 months minimum with scope for extension
