Data Engineer (24-Month FTC)

Salary: £50,000-£60,000Location: Remote

About the RoleJoin a leading charity as they embark on a major ERP system migration. We are seeking skilled Data Engineers to either support this critical project or backfill positions for permanent engineers focused on the migration. Be part of an experienced team driving significant change, helping to build a top-tier data management and analytics service. Your work will support the evolution of the data platform, introducing new data domains, and enhancing data sharing internally and with partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage a new Data Lakehouse.
  • Utilise technologies such as Data Integration, Master Data, and Data Science/Analytics.
  • Provide best practices for integrating systems and mastering data sets.
  • Collaborate with Analysis teams to deliver data and analytical outputs.
  • Design, create, and maintain data integration pipelines and APIs for sharing datasets.
  • Ensure data mastering, integration, reference data management, and data quality.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organisation.

Experience & Skills

  • Proficiency in T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Databricks.
  • Experience with complex ETL routines, data modelling, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Experience with ERP migrations, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and APIs (beneficial).
