Are you an experienced Data Architect looking to take your career to the next level? This Portfolio Data Architect role at a leading global insurance company could be the perfect fit for you!

As the Portfolio Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the data architectural strategy for this company. You will be responsible for driving the transition from an on-premises data warehouse to cloud-based solutions, first in Azure and then in AWS.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Overseeing data modelling and reviewing data modelling processes
Collaborating with Solution Architects and Platform Architects on a range of projects
Interacting with the wider business and other data architects to ensure a cohesive data strategy
Reporting to the Head of Data and working closely with the Head of Data and Analytics across the group

To excel in this role, you should have:

Extensive experience as a Data Architect, preferably in the insurance industry
Experience in a on-prem to cloud transition.
Strong understanding of data warehousing and cloud-based data solutions, including Snowflake and AWS Glue
Familiarity with global data architecture and the ability to work on large-scale, international projects
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with various business units
