About the Role:We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead and define our data strategy across complex technical domains. This role involves driving data governance, designing distributed databases, leveraging cloud technologies, and staying ahead of industry trends in data analytics. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure data integrity, and align technical roadmaps with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Strategy & Roadmap: Define and manage the data strategy and technical roadmap, aligning with business objectives.
- Data Architecture: Lead the design of conceptual, logical, and physical data models for distributed and cloud-based environments.
- Governance & Metadata: Establish and enforce data governance principles and lead metadata and Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives.
- Advanced Analytics: Integrate advanced analytics tools and strategies to deliver actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Cloud Data Technologies: Drive the adoption of cloud-native data solutions and future cloud data strategies.
- Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
- Industry Standards: Apply industry-recognised data standards and best practices (e.g., DAMA, ISO) across all data initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in data architecture, database management, data integration, and analytics.
- Strong knowledge of cloud data technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data governance.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing complex data projects.
- Expertise in metadata management, Master Data Management (MDM), and data modelling.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or data architecture.
