Database Support Engineer
Salary: to £50K Job Type: Permanent Location: City of London
Key Responsibilities
- Providing BAU Support for the Database team
- Configuring and troubleshooting the SQL server
- Monitoring and reporting on database checks
- Assisting in database deployment
- Scripting and Automating processes for application delivery
- Collaborating with various members to ensure project delivery
Requirements
- 2+ years experience with MS SQL Server
- Knowledge of Database Security concepts in Windows and Linux environments
- Experience of dealing with Disaster Recover (DR)
- Any Automation skills with Ansible would be great
- Some programming knowledge i.e Python, Java, SQL, PowerShell etc.
- Understanding of Cloud technology
