The Role

Design, build, and establish innovative solutions across products, platforms, and applications. You will be a technical expert, ensuring the highest standards of data engineering and quality assurance are met consistently. As the Data Lead, you will oversee and ensure high performance, share knowledge and expertise, and inspire your team to achieve goals aligning to the companies vision.

You will manage a team of highly skilled data engineers, promoting best practices and consistent development. Your leadership will help ensure the data projects meet high expectations while contributing to the implementation of an ambitious data strategy and transformation roadmap.

What I Need to Apply for the Role

  • Excellent understanding of DataBricks and PySpark.
  • Excellent understanding of SQL and CosmosDB databases.
  • Excellent knowledge of designing, constructing, and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services and data warehouse technologies around Azure.
  • Proven track record of leading development projects and teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of T-SQL programming.
  • Experience with Tableau, PowerBI or similar data visualisation platforms.
  • Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated and very flexible
  • Knowledge of agile methodology
  • Knowledge of GitHub and branching strategies
