We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join the business on a 12 month contract.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for maintain data pipelines, building data quality checks and working cross functionally to complete tasks related to data tracking, collection and quality monitoring.
We are looking for the following experience:
- 3+ years managing batch and streaming data pipelines using GCP, Dataflow/Apache Beam, Dataproc, Spark/Flink, and dbt.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and shell scripting.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Salt.
- 3+ years of developing applications in modern environments, preferably Scala, Java, or Python.
- Professional experience across the full software development life cycle, from requirements to CI/CD production deployment.
- Skilled in conveying complex technical concepts through Technical Design Documents.
